You can also increase the speed for long graphs or calculations. It's really nice because it also allows programs to be sent to it and has the option of an IDE (but you can hide the IDE if you don't need it). ![]() It requires that you upload a (legally acquired) rom, but once you do, this seems like it would be a very good ‘on-the-go’ resource for presentations, teaching, or just any other time and place when you might need at graphing calculator. This also requires that you already have a physical calculator. Check out this online TI-83 Plus emulatorThis just came across my radar from Hackaday. :P I don't know if you can preview what it looks like without an account so I've took a screenshot of its layout: įor the regular TI-83 and TI-84 Plus there's an online emulator on Cemetech called jsTIfied. TI Connect CE App for Chrome OS operating system is a concept application that runs on the Chrome OS operating system and allows for connectivity to a TI-84 Plus CE graphing calculator. It can also emulate turning off and on if that's at all important to you. ![]() The only downside is, as far as I know, you can't focus only on the calculator, the IDE is always open. It's free so long as you already have a physical calculator (otherwise you'll need to buy a physical calculator for it to work). If they already have physical calculators and you still want them to be able to put programs on them, TI-Planet has an online emulator called Project Builder that has an C IDE built right into the emulator! /pb/ I know you asked for an app, but I believe an online emulator should work just as well.
